Connecting the ends

Time to connect the ends of the railroad. Its been a while since I have updated this blog so this is a good time. I have wanted to connect both ends for a while to simulate through traffic while I am switching the various areas. It took a while to get the heavy duty piece of plywood I figured I would need to make it work. 3/4" so there is very little flex as it has to span about a 4' wide space, in an S shape no less.
